The Garland Owls volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Little Elm Lobos to 1 in the Owls non-league triumph on Friday.

The Owls now have a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mesquite for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Garland will play a Skeeters team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Skeeters record now stands at 0-5.

The Lobos (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Lake Dallas was edged by Princeton (Princeton, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
