Nevada High School Volleyball - Horizon over Sunrise Mountain
August 22, 2025: Las Vegas, NV 89142 The Horizon Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Sunrise Mountain Miners to 0 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Somerset Sky Pointe for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Horizon will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Coronado (Henderson, NV). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
The Miners (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Knights go into the 4A Southern - Sun game with a 1-0 record.
