In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Laredo LBJ Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Porter Cowboys.

The Wolves (12-4) will now prepare for their test against San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Greyhounds go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, San Benito achieved victory over IDEA Riverview (Brownsville, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
