In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Springtown Porcupines volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Lorena Leopards.

With the win, Springtown advances its record to 17-2 on the season. The Porcupines travel to Boyd (Boyd, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 7-1. Boyd won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Krum (Krum, TX)

Next, the Leopards play the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Lorena will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record.
