North Carolina High School Volleyball - Western Guilford edged by Bishop McGuinness
August 23, 2022: Kernersville, NC 27284 The Bishop McGuinness Villains held off the visiting Western Guilford Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Villains now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a non-league test on Monday, August 29. Bishop McGuinness will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-0.
The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their test against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, East Forsyth was nudged by Grimsley (Greensboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
