The Avalon Lancers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Milken Wildcats to 0 in the Lancers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lancers now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mary Star of the Sea for a non-league game on Saturday, August 27. Avalon will meet a Stars team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Stars record now stands at 7-0.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA). The Wolves enter the non-league game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Wiseburn- Da Vinci gained a win over La Pietra (Honolulu, HI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
