North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Mecklenburg over Berry

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) and the host Berry Cardinal (Charlotte, NC), saw North Mecklenburg's volleyball squad beat Berry by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, North Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Vikings host Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Monday, August 29. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Highland Tech won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Burns (Lawndale, NC)

The Cardinal now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Myers Park for a So Meck 4A bout on Thursday, August 25. Berry will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.
