August 23, 2022: Dobson, NC 27017 The Surry Central Golden Eagles volleyball team (Dobson, NC), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC)
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, North Surry defeated Elkin (Elkin, NC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles encounter the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 25. Surry Central will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC).
