North Carolina High School Volleyball - Corvian Community over Central Academy

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cardinals battle the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Corvian Community will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC).

With the loss, Central Academy drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to battle the Spiders in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 24.
