Kentucky High School Volleyball - Lewis County tips Robertson County
August 23, 2023: Vanceburg, KY 41179 Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) in a District 63 match, on Thursday, August 24. Lewis County will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Musketeers come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to South Point (South Point, OH).
With the loss, Robertson County drops to 1-4 on the season. The Black devils travel to Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, August 24. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 3-1. Bishop Brossart won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Holmes (Covington, KY)
