August 23, 2024: Cynthiana, KY 41031 The Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) football trounced the host Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), 42-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Polar Bears now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sayre for a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. Bracken County will play a Spartans team coming off a 49-0 non-league win over Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
The Thorobreds (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Estill County was ripped by East Carter (Grayson, KY), 36-0, in a non-league challenge.
