August 23, 2024: Durham, NC 27707 Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC), 43-24 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Cardinal Gibbons advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC) to play the Mavericks in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Mavericks go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Mallard Creek won 31-21 in their recent non-league battle against Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA)
The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Alamance for a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. Jordan will play a Patriots team coming off a 63-0 non-league win over Graham (Graham, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.
