The Corona Panthers football team (Corona, CA), was crushed 47-14 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA)

With the win, Hillcrest advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans host Santiago (Corona, CA) to encounter the Sharks in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Santiago lost 40-13 in their recent non-league bout against Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA)

The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Bloomington for a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. Corona will encounter a Bruins team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to Perris (Perris, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-1.
