In Friday's non-league game, the Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) football team were victorious over the host Greene County Tigers (Eutaw, AL), by a score of 56-32.

In their next game, the Bears face the Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 30. Sipsey Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 48-7 non-league win over Brookwood (Brookwood, AL).

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Marion (Marion, AL). The Rams enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Marion fell by Dallas County (Plantersville, AL), 28-14, in a non-league battle.
