Jackson Christian Eagles (Jackson, TN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS), 28-26 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Jackson Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles host Peabody (Trenton, TN) to play the Golden Tide in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Golden Tide go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Peabody lost 49-20 in their recent non-league battle against University School of Jackson (Jackson, TN)
