In Friday's non-league game, the Lincoln Golden Lions (Gahanna, OH) football team were victorious over the visiting Mason Comets (Mason, OH), by a score of 24-10.

In their next game, the Golden Lions face the Groveport-Madison Cruisers (Groveport, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 30. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Cruisers enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 28-7 non-league win over Hilliard Bradley (Hilliard, OH).
