The Strom Thurmond Rebels walloped the host McCormick Chiefs football team by a score of 47-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Silver Bluff Bulldogs (Aiken, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 30. Strom Thurmond will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 35-18 non-league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC).
