August 23, 2024: Englewood, TN 37329 The Signal Mountain Eagles football squad scored 45 points and limited the host McMinn Central Chargers to 29 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Signal Mountain will meet a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, McMinn Central drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Seymour (Seymour, TN) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, August 30.
