The Northern Bedford County Panthers (Loysburg, PA) football knocked off the visiting Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA), 36-16 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Claysburg-Kimmel for a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. Northern Bedford County will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-14 league loss to Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Southern Huntingdon County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league outing on Friday, August 30.
