North Carolina High School Football - Olympic sneaks past West Mecklenburg

The Olympic Trojans football squad scored 21 points and limited the host West Mecklenburg Hawks to 20 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Olympic will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 23-0 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, West Mecklenburg drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC) to meet the Ravens in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 0-1. Rocky River lost 45-7 in their recent non-league test against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)
