The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) and the visiting Riverdale Raiders (Riverdale, GA), witnessed Trinity Christian's football squad knock off Riverdale by a tally of 35-14.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Grangers enter the AAA Region 2 contest with a 1-1 record.

Coming up next, the Raiders battle the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) in a AAA Region 5 contest, on Friday, August 30. Riverdale will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 62-0 non-league loss to Lowndes (Valdosta, GA).
