The Union County Fightin' Tigers edged the host Yulee Hornets football team by a score of 14-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Fightin' Tigers face the Keystone Heights Indians (Keystone Heights, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 30. Union County will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 29-0 non-league win over Interlachen (Interlachen, FL).

The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clay (Green Cove Springs, FL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Clay was edged by Fleming Island (Orange Park, FL), 30-20, in a non-league challenge.
