Tennessee High School Soccer - Webb knocks off Battle Ground Academy
August 23, 2024: Franklin, TN 37069 In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Webb Spartans soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats.
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Maryville (Maryville, TN). The Red Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Maryville was overwhelmed by Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN), 5-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Columbia Academy Bulldogs (Columbia, TN) in a D II-A Middle 3 outing, on Monday, August 26. Battle Ground Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Culleoka (Culleoka, TN).
