Texas High School Volleyball - Coronado over Lamar

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Coronado Thunderbirds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lamar Vikings.

The Thunderbirds (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Southlake Carroll lost by Highland Park (Dallas, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings play the Eagle Mountain Knights (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, TX).
