August 23, 2024: Johannesburg, MI 49751 In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Ellsworth Lancers.
The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI). The Snowbirds enter the Ski-Valley challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary Cathedral beat Hillman (Hillman, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers meet the Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Ellsworth will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
