Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Midway Panthers (Waco, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Plano East improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Allen (Allen, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 6 test on Saturday, August 24. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 8-4. Allen won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Wilson (Dallas, TX)

The Panthers now own a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covenant for a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. Midway will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
