Nanakuli Golden Hawks (Waianae, HI) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Castle Knights (Kaneohe, HI), 47-32 in a non-league match.

The Golden Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Moanalua (Honolulu, HI). The Menehune come into the OIA I match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Moanalua defeated Pearl City (Pearl City, HI), 55-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Kalaheo Mustangs (Kailua, HI) in a OIA II battle, on Saturday, August 30. Castle will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 40-16 non-league win over Pac-Five (Honolulu, HI).
