The Tigers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Clairemont (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Clairemont lost by San Marcos (San Marcos, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Chula Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
