August 23, 2025: Louisville, KY 40205 Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals (Nashville, TN), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Assumption moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Rockets host DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Crimsons in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Crimsons come into the test with a record of 1-1. DuPont Manual lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY)
The Royals now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league outing on Sunday, August 24. Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
