The Avengers now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Coventry for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29.
With the loss, Ponaganset moves to 0-1 on the year. The Chieftains host Middletown (Middletown, RI) to encounter the Islanders in a Division 2 challenge on Friday, September 5. The Islanders go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
