August 23, 2025: Pocono Summit, PA 18346 Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Pen Argyl moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Green Knights host Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA) to clash with the Spartans in a Colonial test on Wednesday, August 27. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Panthers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Allentown Central Catholic for a Eastern Penn test on Tuesday, August 26. Pocono Mountain West will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
