With the win, Briarwood Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions host Helena (Helena, AL) to meet the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next, the Trojans meet the Elberta Warriors (Elberta, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. Daphne will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
