August 23, 2025: Carlsbad, CA 92010 Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Coronado improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Islanders travel to Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-1. Fallbrook lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA)
The Bobcats now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Granite Hills for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Sage Creek will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mission Bay (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
