In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting A.C. Reynolds Rockets soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Apex Friendship Patriots.

The Rockets (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, St. Stephens was edged by Statesville (Statesville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, August 25. Apex Friendship will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 1-1 non-league Wakefield (Raleigh, NC).
