In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Vance County Vipers soccer team scored a close 6-2 triumph over the A.L. Brown Wonders.

With the triumph, Vance County moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Vipers host American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Monday, August 25. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 0-5. American Leadership Academy-Johnston lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)
