August 23, 2025: Maple Grove, MN 55369 Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Maple Grove moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Crimson host St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to confront the Knights in a Class AA Section 8 outing on Tuesday, August 26. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 0-1. St. Michael-Albertville lost 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Eagan (Eagan, MN)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 26. Apollo will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN).
