August 23, 2025: Arden Hills, MN 55112 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Paul Central Minutemen (St. Paul, MN) and the host Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN), saw St. Paul Central's soccer squad hold off Mounds View by a final score of 4-3.
With the triumph, St. Paul Central moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN) to meet the Warriors in a Class AA Section 4 test on Tuesday, August 26. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-1. Two Rivers lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against John Marshall (Rochester, MN)
The Mustangs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lourdes for a non-league test on Monday, August 25. Mounds View will meet a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
