In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Marian Crusaders softball squad scored a close 4-2 triumph over the Blair Bears.

With the triumph, Marian upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Crusaders host Westview (Omaha, NE) to confront the Wolverines in a A District match on Tuesday, August 26. The Wolverines come into the match with a record of 2-0. Westview won 4-1 in their recent league match against Columbus (Columbus, NE)

In their next game, the Bears confront the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) in a B District match, on Monday, August 25. Blair will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The SkyHawks come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Northwest (Grand Island, NE).
