August 23, 2025: Canton, GA 30114 The Starr's Mill Panthers softball squad (Fayetteville, GA), was routed 5-2 in Saturday's non-league bout with the host Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA)
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Eagles go into the 6A Region 5 bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Etowah nudged North Paulding (Dallas, GA), 7-6, in a league contest.
The Panthers now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Parkview for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 23. Starr's Mill will battle a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Duluth (Duluth, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
