Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) and the visiting Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX), observed Granbury's volleyball team top Burleson by a count of 2-0.

The Pirates (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Permian (Odessa, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Permian achieved victory over Keller Central (Keller, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
