Texas High School Volleyball - Trinity Christian over Caprock

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) and the host Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX), observed Trinity Christian's volleyball team top Caprock by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Archer City (Archer City, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Archer City achieved victory over Levelland (Levelland, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Longhorns now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tascosa for a 5A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, August 26. Caprock will meet a Rebels team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Frisco (Frisco, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 10-7.
