Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fernley improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Vaqueros host Truckee (Truckee, CA) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
