With the win, Sardis improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Lions host Ashville (Ashville, AL) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 7-0. Ashville won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL)
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Glencoe (Glencoe, AL).
