August 23, 2025: Mission, TX 78572 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Goliad Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Pioneer Diamondbacks.
Next up, the Tigers face the Stockdale Brahmas (Stockdale, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. Goliad will attempt to advance on its 16-3 season record. The Brahmas go into the game with a 10-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Bandera (Bandera, TX).
The Diamondbacks (12-3) will now prepare for their game against Stevens (San Antonio, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Stevens was nudged by Stockdale (Stockdale, TX), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
