The Irish (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI). The Eagles enter the Mid-State challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Carson City-Crystal was beaten by Zion Christian (Byron Center, MI), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Hale will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI).
