Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH) and the host John Glenn Little Muskies (New Concord, OH), observed Northridge's volleyball team top John Glenn by a count of 2-0.

The Vikings (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Newark Catholic (Newark, OH). The Green Wave enter the Licking County contest with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Newark Catholic achieved victory over Lakewood (Hebron, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Little Muskies now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host River View for a Muskingum Valley battle on Tuesday, August 26. John Glenn will encounter a Black Bears squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Philo (Duncan Falls, OH). The Black Bears record now stands at 2-1.
