Richland Raiders (Prosper, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Frisco (Frisco, TX). The Raccoons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Frisco lost by Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the Red Oak Hawks (Red Oak, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Pine Tree (Longview, TX).
