August 23, 2025: Skidmore, TX 78389 The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Lyford Bulldogs to 1 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bobcats now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Weslaco for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Skidmore-Tynan will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hidalgo Early College (Hidalgo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Lyford drops to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 3A Region IV District 32 match on Tuesday, August 26. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 0-4.
