Marion Local Flyers (Maria Stein, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Miamisburg Vikings (Miamisburg, OH), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Marion Local improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Flyers travel to Lakota West (West Chester, OH) to meet the Firebirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Lakota West lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Harrison (Harrison, OH)

Next, the Vikings meet the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers (Dayton, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. Miamisburg will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH).
