Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) and the host Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), saw Neshoba Central's volleyball squad notch a victory over Pearl by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Neshoba Central improves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Rockets host Union (Union, MS) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 15-5.

Next, the Pirates meet the Florence Eagles (Florence, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Pearl will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS).
